Filling up cheapest in 3 1/2 years INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – With gasoline prices in free fall, skeptical motorists are fearful that the money they’re saving may be only temporary.
Auto Club spokesman Jeff Spring says the best may be yet to come. “I’d say the odds are pretty good that prices will continue to go down barring any refinery or supply problems. We have seen a couple of places in Northern California where gas is less than $3.” And, Spring says that may be only a publicity stunt for a handful of gas stations that want to be first with the cheapest. Inland Empire regular octane gas is now below $3.50. That’s the lowest since February 2011. Story Date: October 27, 2014
