Poll: Governor Brown on a high, Obama on a low
SAN FRANCISCO – (INT) – The latest voter opinion poll continues to give Governor Brown high marks in his bid for re-election.

The Public Policy Institute of California also found voter favor with the water bond Proposition 1.

Proposition 2, the ‘rainy day fund’, has gained ground, with about half of likely voters in favor of it.

Poll director Mark Baldassare says a low voter turnout could create a lot of uncertainty "More so at the statewide level than the local level in terms of who might come out and how the voter turnout might tip races in one direction or another.”

Also in the survey – President Obama’s approval rating among Californians has dropped to a record low 44 percent.

Sixty-two percent says governments are not doing enough to respond to the drought.
