Inland Empire job growth hits 2.9 percent
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Another measure of job growth puts Riverside and San Bernardino counties in the nation’s Top 10 metropolitan areas.

The latest figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics gave the Inland Empire a 2.9 percent gain the first nine months of the year. That was the sixth fastest gain tied with Denver and right behind Portland, Oregon. San Francisco and San Diego trailed.

Orlando, Florida was adding jobs at the fastest rate in the nation at 3.7 percent.

California was among the top ten states adding back jobs at the fastest pace since the recession.
