Advisories posted as weather warms
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) – A warming and drying trend is being accompanied by wind advisories for the valleys and mountains until noon Thursday.

A fire weather watch kicks in Wednesday.

Stephen Harrison at the National Weather Service says in spite of the recent rain, we’re not out of the fire season yet. Drying off-shore winds are likely in the coming days "which will dry and warm things up significantly. This will result in increased fire weather concerns.”

Our weather will gradually warm after the chilliest morning of the season. Temperatures fell into the 40’s Monday morning throughout the Metro area and the 30’s across the High Desert where the first frost advisory of fall was issued. Big Bear hit a chilling low of 18.
