SAN JACINTO – (INT) – A man paragliding was killed in a mountainside crash Tuesday above the Soboba Indian Reservation.

The Riverside County sheriff’s deputies responded after witnesses reported seeing the paraglider crash about 600 feet up the mountainside.

There were reports that David Pearson, 38, from Los Angeles was on a test flight. He was killed on impact.

The crew of a sheriff’s helicopter hoisted the body from the scene to complete the recovery.
