SAN FRANCISCO – (INT) – In its last report before Tuesday’s election, the California Field Poll found that Democrats lead in most partisan statewide election contests.

Governor Brown holds a commanding 21-point lead over Republican Neel Kashkari in closing days of the Governor's race.

The poll had voters evenly divided in race for Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The final pre-election poll also found that in six partisan statewide election contests to be decided next week – the Democratic candidate holds the lead over the Republican by margins ranging from seven to thirteen points.

Those contests are for Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Controller, State Treasurer, Secretary of State and Insurance Commissioner.
