RIVERSIDE – Former Murrieta Mayor Alan Long is being sued by the parents of four students who were injured when Long’s pickup truck hit their vehicle.

Long is facing felony DUI charges.

Riverside personal injury attorney Jean Simon Serrano claims Long stalled in calling ‘911’ the night of the October 16th incident in Murrieta.

“He delayed and tried to deflect any involvement of authorities while his blood alcohol was too high for driving. These attempts failed.”

Long won re-election to his City Council seat in Murrieta. He remains on bail pending his next court date in December.
