MUSCOY – (INT) – Investigators blame illegal drug activity for an explosion that blew apart a small house killing one person and injuring two other people.

The Wednesday night blast originated in the basement of the house where a man’s body was found. He was identified as Adrian Curiel, 61, of Chino.

Another man was badly burned and a woman suffering blunt force trauma was pulled form the wreckage and taken to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Names of -the survivors have not been released.

The explosion was so powerful that a recently paved portion of Gray Street buckled.
