LAS VEGAS - (INT) - Motown soul singer Jimmy Ruffin has died.

His chart-topping 1966 hit ‘What Becomes of the Brokenhearted?” was followed by several more memorable records through the 70’s.

Jimmy was the eldest of two brothers who got their start as a gospel duo and eventually went their separate ways.

Jimmy Ruffin was 78 when he died at a Las Vegas hospital.
