INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Ballot counting in Riverside County is over. The results of the November 4th election were certified Friday.

In some tight races, Jeff Giba won a seat on the Moreno Valley City Council by seven votes.

Bill Link retained his seat on the Eastvale City Council by 34 votes.

Kevin Hill replaced Richard Schafer on the board of the Temecula Valley Unified School District by 108 votes.

In another note, Riverside County voters went for Republicans in all of the partisan statewide contests.

The final voter participation in the General Election was 40.1%, a record low and ever lower than the 43% prediction.
