HIGHLAND – (INT) – Authorities are zeroing in on gangs infesting San Bernardino and Highland.

A 3-month crackdown on the California Gardens Crips and the Delmann Heights Bloods has resulted in thirty-three arrests.

District Attorney Mike Ramos has a message to the "local terrorists, these cowards. We are going to hold you responsible.”

Since last March, gang violence has resulted in one murder and several attempted murders in which some of the victims included a 4-year-old boy and a 2-month-old infant.

Other crimes involved robberies, carjackings and drive-by shootings.

Thirty firearms have been recovered.
