Unemployment rate matches 6-year low
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Riverside and San Bernardino counties added 15,400 jobs last month to help push down the unemployment rate to 8 percent.

That matches the lowest rate of the year. November was the fourth consecutive month of declines.

The State Employment Development Department reported Friday there were the fewest number of people looking for work since mid-2008 when the recession reached the Inland Empire.

However, local joblessness remains higher than the state and national rates.
