Riverside City Council, mayor face salary review
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – City Council members meet January 27th to review their compensation.

They have not given themselves a raise since 2007. But considering the improving economy, the council may decide that the timing is right for a change.

Under the City Charter, the salary review happens every other year. The last review was in 2013.

The mayor is paid $78,828 a year. Each member of the City Council is paid $39,408.

A public hearing has been set for 3pm January 27th.
