San Bernardino's first murder unexplained
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A teenage boy is the city’s first homicide victim of the year.

The coroner says that Cylee Lockhart, 18, was shot on North Orange Street late Monday night. He died an hour later at St. Bernardine’s Medical Center.

Police said Wednesday that Lockhart was walking down Orange Street when two people approached him and began shooting. A motive is unknown.

Forty-two people were murdered in San Bernardino last year. But, the death toll was only half the peak that was reached in 1992.

Guns are the favorite weapon of those bent on murder in San Bernardino.
