Box Office: Will Smith's 'Focus' has muted opening, but still #1
HOLLYWOOD - Will Smith's R-rated romantic pic 'Focus' posted a muted start considering Smith's billing and marking one of the lowest openings of his prolific career.

The Warner Bros. movie, co-starring up-and-coming actress Margot Robbie, did topple 'Fifty Shades of Grey', which had placed No. 1 for two consecutive weeks.

'Kingsman: The Secret Service' pulled ahead of fourth place 'Fifty Shades' for the first time.

'The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water' continued to benefit from being the only kids offering claiming the third spot.

The other new offering is 'The Lazarus Effect', the latest microbudget horror film from Blumhouse. The movie grossed $10.6 million to come in at No. 5.

Clint Eastwood's 'American Sniper' seemed to get a boost from the attention it received at the Oscar ceremony, even if it only walked away with the Academy Award for sound editing. It comes in at No. 7 this week. (Source: The Hollywood Reporter)
