MURRIETA – (INT) – An apparent incident of ‘road rage’ has left two people with severe injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses to the Monday evening incident on the shoulder of Interstate 15 near Clinton Keith Road.

A man wielding a baseball bat inflicted severe head injuries on a man and woman and then drove off with a female accomplice.

Arrested later were Gabriel Bowker, 20, of Grand Terrace and Guadalupe Bowker-Cadena, 29, of Fontana.

The victims were taken to the Inland Valley Medical Center.
