SACRAMENTO – (INT) – Governor Brown has appointed Temecula City Councilman Chuck Washington to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.

Washington,62, will serve out the remaining two years of former supervisor Jeff Stone’s term. Stone was elected last November to the State Senate.

Stone and Washington both served on the Temecula City Council.

Stone said Wednesday he expects ‘great things’ from Washington as a county supervisor.
