MORENO VALLEY - (INT) - San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon was recognized Saturday for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve.

McMahon was recognized for his outstanding support to the United States Navy Reserve. “I am proud of all the men and women who serve in our armed forces, they truly are heroes. We have several military reservists within the department and I will continue to support them,” said McMahon during the morning breakfast where employers mingled with personnel at the Navy Operational Support Center in Moreno Valley.

The Navy Reserve’s Force Master Chief Clarence "CJ" Mitchell personally thanked McMahon for his continued commitment and support of the Navy Reserve.
