CEDAR GLEN - (INT) - Deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station responded Sunday to a residence in the 200 block of Balsam Way, following the report of a shooting.

Deputies located the victim, Salvador Helguera, 18, of Rim Forest, deceased at the location.

Alonza Sarellano, 23, of Cedar Glen, was identified as the suspect responsible for the death of Helguera, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Sarellano was arrested, transported and booked into the Central Detention Center for murder.
