More gas stations slip below $3 gallon
SOUTHLAND - ((INT) - Stabilized fuel supplies have allowed local gas prices to drop by about 30 cents since early March.

They are still about 75 cents higher than at the end of January, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.

In the Inland Empire, the average per-gallon price is down 5 cents from last week and 30 cents less than last month compared to just above $4 gallon a year ago.

Wholesale gasoline prices have fluctuated, but so far they have remained at levels allowing many gas stations to charge close to or less than $3 a gallon,” said Auto Club spokesman Jeffrey Spring.
