M3.4 earthquake jiggles Los Angeles Basin
CARSON - (INT) – Thousands reported feeling the third small earthquake this month to jiggle the Los Angeles Basin.

Thursday’s 7am temblor was centered 2-miles northeast of Carson or about 14 miles south of the LA Civic Center.

Seismologists report the M3.4 quake was centered about 9-miles below the surface.

It followed similar-sized quakes at Baldwin Hills and another in the San Fernando Valley.

Fire crews fanned out across the city, but reported no damage. Metro train service was slightly delayed while crews inspected tracks for damage.
