Ex-Colton police official bound for prison SAN BERNARDINO - (INT) – Former Colton police detective Wesley Bruhn is headed to prison after pleading guilty to stealing more than $165,000 from his own police union.
Bruhn was sentenced in Superior Court Wednesday to 4-years in prison. The funds began disappearing in 2008 and continued for 4-years. Bruhn was ordered to make restitution of $140,000, according to a court official. Bruhn was president and treasurer of the Colton Police Officers Association.
