BEAUMONT - (INT) - An argument between a woman and her boyfriend had a tragic ending.

On Thursday, at approximately 10:11 pm, the woman, 23, called to report the argument.

Before Beaumont Police officers arrived at the residence, Miguel Mariscal, 40, had walked away from the home with the couple’s six month old son, Yadriel.

CHP dispatch later began receiving calls of a man walking eastbound in eastbound lanes of I-10 between SR-60 and Beaumont Avenue.

Mariscal with the baby in his arms walked into the traffic lanes and were hit by multiple vehicles.

Both the father and baby sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. None of the drivers were injured.

Alcohol and/or drugs have not been ruled out as a contributing factor in this incident.

Earlier on Interstate 10, a crash at Desert Center killed Lilana Ortiz, 27, of Phoenix.
