SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Former Yucaipa High School Spanish teacher Sheila Heacock faces sentencing July 1st in a sex abuse case involving a student.

Heacock, 45, was arrested last year after the student said he was abused for two months.

Heacock pleaded guilty in Superior Court Wednesday to a single count of unlawful sex with a minor. Five other counts will be dismissed.

Ms. Heacock was an 18-year employee of the Yucaipa-Calimesa Unified School District.
