Home prices highest since before housing bust
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Los Angeles and Riverside counties led Southern California in increasing home prices the past 12-months.

Riverside County buyers were paying 8.3% more than a year ago while Los Angeles County selling prices averaged 10 percent higher.

Combined, Riverside and San Bernardino county homes sold for an average of $281,250 last month. That’s the most since prior to the housing melt-down.

Andrew LePage, a data analyst for CoreLogic said "Many buyers still face credit and affordability hurdles, and the inventory of homes for sale remains relatively tight in many markets. New home construction is still well below historically normal levels, too."
