Disneyland pulls all-nighter with pajama-clad farewell
ANAHEIM - Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the gang, dressed in their pajamas, wished everyone "Good morning" as Disneyland's 24-hour celebration of the park's 60th anniversary came to a close early Saturday.

Cast members lined Main Street, U.S.A. to wave goodbye to guests as the thousands of sleep-deprived visitors filed out of the park.

"My feet are killing me," said Michelle Boone, 27, of Long Beach. According to her pedometer on her phone, she trekked more than 20,000 steps, or about 12 miles, after entering the park Friday morning.

Mitch Goodgion said he looks forward to future 24-hour days. He made it through the event on five Coca-Colas and one energy drink. "My wife and I outlasted our kids," Goodgion said. "They're back at the hotel, which is too bad because they'd like this send-off."

This is the fourth consecutive year Disneyland has hosted a 24-hour celebration. (Source: Orange County Register)
