Charges issued in video beating, investigators mum
SAN BERNARDINO - (INT) - Francis Pusok, 30, of Apple Valley, has been charged with multiple counts following a three-hour pursuit that occurred April 9th in Lucerne Valley.

Pusok is currently out of custody on $100,000 bail and his arraignment is scheduled June 16th in Victorville Superior Court, the District Attorney announced Thursday.

If convicted as charged, Pusok faces a maximum sentence of 19 years, 4 months in state prison.

There was no mention in the DA's press release about the investigation of the videotaped beating of Pusok's arrest. Two days after the incident, Sheriff John McMahon said the video was 'disturbing' and he ordered an internal investigation. Ten deputies were placed on administrative leave.
