Man arrested for carjacking and child abduction
PERRIS – (INT) - On Friday, investigators arrested Dominique Dwayne Perry, 25, of Moreno Valley, on a $1,000,000 warrant for carjacking.

The carjacking occurred on Sunburst Dr. on May 18 in Perris. Investigators also learned Perry had possibly abducted his eight-year-old son from the boy's mother in Rancho Cucamonga the night before.

Perry was seen walking on the sidewalk with a woman and an eight-year-old boy, and was arrested without incident.

The boy was not harmed during this incident. San Bernardino Sheriff's Department and San Bernardino Children and Family Services are handling the child abduction which occurred in their jurisdiction.

The woman who was walking with Perry will be interviewed regarding her involvement.

Perry was booked into the Southwest Detention Center for carjacking and possession of stolen property. Perry will also face criminal charges in Nevada for assault with a deadly weapon and carjacking. And in San Bernardino County, Perry will face charges for assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and child abduction.
