Weather catches holiday spirit
SOUTHLAND - (INT) - Southern California weather is in the holiday spirit as the atmosphere dries out in the wake of the recent storms.

Occasional high clouds are decorating Southland skies as the weather settles into a more tranquil mood.

An isolated, afternoon mountain shower is not out of the question.

Afternoon temperatures will gain a few degrees next week, but a heat wave is not predicted.

A moderately deep marine layer covers the coast and may not pull back from some beaches in the afternoons.
