Riverside crime increase off-sets last year's drop
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Crime rose 6 percent the first-half of the year in the city. It was the first increase in two years.

Reported robberies lead the increase by14 percent over the same period last year. Two categories of theft rose by single digits.

Homicides fell by 67 percent with only three, and reported rape cases were down by 9 percent.

For all of last year, crime was down by nearly 6 percent.
