2 1/2 week fire fight ends, camps reopen
WRIGHTWOOD – (INT) – The US Forest Service has announced full containment of the 200 acre Pines Fire.

The cause of the 200 acre brush and timber fire remains under investigation.

It broke out July 17th just off Highway 2 near Big Pines forcing the evacuation of several camps. Kare Camp, McClellan Flats, and Table Mountain Campground have reopened.

No one was injured and no buildings were damaged.
