SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) - Deputies are searching for two teens who shot a 5 year old in the forehead with a BB gun in the 3300 block of North Conejo Drive, Saturday.

Witnesses at the location reported the child had been shot in the forehead by an unknown firearm. It was later determined that the firearm used was a BB gun

The child was later transported by ambulance to Loma Linda Children's Hospital where he received care for his injuries.

Witnesses described the suspects who shot the child as two male juveniles.

The juveniles fled the location northbound on Conejo Drive. prior to deputies' arrival. The suspects are believed to live in the area.
