Police released video of man hit with his own vehicle
HEMET – (INT) – The Hemet Police Department released a video were appears a man being intentionally hit with his own vehicle a result of an on-going road rage incident.

Police received a call of verbal disturbance Friday in the 1400 block of S. Gilbert St. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 53 year old white man lying in the street, unable to move, suffering from injuries, consistent with being hit with a vehicle.

Medical aid was provided to the victim and he was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Investigators discovered there was a video of the event, depicting two suspects, one involved in the verbal argument with the victim, and the other driving the victim’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. It was learned that this incident was a result of an on-going road rage incident in which one of the suspects stole the victim’s car.

Based on information gained from the video it appears the victim was intentionally hit with his own vehicle.

The victim’s vehicle was abandoned at the scene after the collision and both suspects fled in the Ford truck described below.
