FONTANA – (INT) – Investigators have to determine the cause of a weekend fire at a salvage yard.

The fire on Arrow Route was confined to stacks of fifty salvage vehicles that sent a plume of black smoke into the Saturday evening sky. Firefighters were challenged by guard dogs, electric fences and other access issues.

No buildings were damaged and there were no injuries.

Fire fighters from Rancho Cucamonga assisted in battling the 2-alarm blaze.
