VICTORVILLE – (INT) – Two people are dead and three others have survived a head-on crash.

Investigating sheriff’s deputies say a sedan with the two male fatalities swerved into the path of an oncoming SUV on Nisqualli Road. The Chevy Impala careened through a fence after the impact in front of the Casa Bella Apartments.

A woman and two children in the SUV survived and were taken to the Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Paramedics said the two victims who perished died at the scene Sunday night.

Names of those involved were not immediately released.
