Riverside councilman seeks mayor's job
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – The city’s 2016 election for mayor is getting an early start.

City Councilman Paul Davis said “I am running for mayor to bring accountability back to the office of mayor and restore the integrity of this city.”

Davis was elected to the City Council in 2009. He is a former law enforcement officer and self-proclaimed expert in the field of finance and banking.

In his announcement, Davis has focused on creating economic expansion, enhancing public safety and improving quality of life.

Davis is expected to challenge 1-term incumbent Rusty Bailey.
