SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – San Bernardino Community College Chancellor Bruce Baron has offered reassurances that active shooter policies and procedures are in place at Valley College and Crafton Hills College.

Making reference to the community college mass shooting in Roseberg, Oregon, Baron said “All members of our campus communities go through regular crisis situation trainings and videos of those trainings are available on the district website. Our emergency operations procedures are also on the site, sbccd.org.”

Baron said “The senseless tragedy in Oregon serves to remind us that we must take extra care to be alert and to be safe.”
