SAN BERNARDINO - INT) – A motorist was talking on her cell phone with a police dispatcher when she lost control of her vehicle and was killed when it crashed into a wall.

Rachael Welch said she was trying to catch up with a truck that nearly drove her off of South E Street late Monday night.

Police say that Welch, 38, of Westminster, lost control of her Chevy Lumina at high speed causing it to overturn onto its roof.

Welch was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
