Mosquito-spraying trucks roam Perris neighborhoods PERRIS – (INT) – Spraying for mosquitoes is shifting to Perris.
Riverside County officials say it’s because of extremely high activity of West Nile virus. Ground applications of Zenivex from roving truck-mounted sprayers was applied Thursday at the rate of 3-ounces per acre. Signs were posted in specific neighborhoods informing residents of the control of the disease-carrying mosquitoes. Earlier spraying was done in near-by Nuevo, Moreno Valley and parts of Riverside.
