Poll: Clinton slips, Sanders gains SAN FRANCISCO – (INT) – Popularity polls for the announced candidates for president seem to be a dime-a-dozen and are showing rapid changes from one week to the next. And, it’s still 8-months before California voters make any decisions.
The California Field Poll issued Wednesday gave former First Lady Hillary Clinton only a 47 percent approval rating among likely Democratic voters. That’s a 19 percent decline from May. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders fills in the void rising from just 9 percent last spring to 35 percent now. If Vice-President Joe Biden was the become an announced candidate, just 15% of likely voters say they would back him. Story Date: October 11, 2015
