FONTANA – A suspected mail thief can add felony reckless driving to charges already pending against him.

Bryan Bills, 31, of Rialto was sidelined after a 7-mile police chase at speeds up to 100 miles an hour.

In his possession were several pieces of mail with altered checks, methamphetamine and US Postal keys.

Bills was captured in a vehicle that matched one seen on surveillance cameras in an area of recent mail thefts.

Fontana police recently mounted a full court press on mail thieves who’ve been active in their city.
