Purchasing managers weigh in on local economy
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Local purchasing managers have put a positive spin on the region’s economy.

After a 3-month decline, the local manufacturing sector reverted back to growth mode during November. The Institute of Applied Research at Cal State-San Bernardino reported Tuesday that new orders and production were especially strong. The employment index also improved.

Purchasing Managers’ opinions regarding the state of the local economy for the opening quarter of 2016 are ‘mixed’ with an equal percentage predicting growth or weakening. Thirty-eight percent expect it will remain the same.
