Semi-official vote count confirms City Council election winners
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – An updated ballot count shows that Jim Mulvilhill retained his Seventh Ward City Council seat by 92 votes.

Mulvihill edged out businessman Scott Beard in Tuesday’s run-off election.

In the Sixth Ward, Bessine Littlefield-Richard captured about two-thirds of the vote to easily defect Roxanne Williams.

Only about 2,700 ballots were cast in the election.

The winners will be sworn-in March 7th.

A run-off was required in Wards 6 and 7 because no candidate garnered a mandatory 50% of the votes to win in the November 3rd election.
