July trial planned for mass killing conspirator
RIVERSIDE - (INT) - The pending trial for accused San Bernardino mass killing conspirator Enrique Marquez is no longer on the fast track.

Prosecutors and Marquez' attorneys say that because of the complexity of the case, the young Riverside man won't stand trial until later this summer which will give them time for preparation. A federal judge in Riverside agreed Wednesday and postponed the trial for 5-months.

Marquez remains in custody to await a hearing on pre-trial motions June 27th.

Marquez is the only one charged in connection with the December 2nd bloodshed at the Inland Regional Center. He has denied charges of supplying the guns used in the massacre carried out by a radicalized terrorist couple killed in a shootout with police. Marquez claims to have had no prior knowledge of the attack.
