RANCHO MIRAGE - (INT) - Final preparations are being made for President Obama's summit with Southeast Asian leaders at the Sunnylands estate of the late Walter Annenberg.

Mr. Obama was scheduled arrived Friday for his sixth visit to the Coachella Valley in less than three years.

The 2-day summit won't begin until Monday. Once the 10 leaders join the president, they'll discuss the economy and entrepreneurship, trade and investment, climate change, and conclude Tuesday with counter terrorism and security issues.

The President is using the occasion to counter China's growing influence in Southeast Asia.
