Car thief chased by victim dies
LOMA LINDA – (INT) – A suspected car thief has been killed in a crash while being pursued by the victim.

It happened early Thursday when Jose Medina-Razo, 19, heard his vehicle being started in the middle of the night outside his girlfriend’s residence. Both jumped into her SUV chasing the suspect until the vehicles collided and the stolen car crashed into a freeway overpass embankment on Mountain View Avenue.

The car thief, a 25-year-old man from Fontana, was ejected by the impact and died at the scene. Medina-Razo and his girlfriend suffered minor injuries.
