Summertime jobs few for students
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Students and graduates will be lining up summertime jobs, but there may be slim pickings.

The personal finance website WalletHub found that among the nation’s largest cities, Moreno Valley had only eight part-time job openings per 1,000 civilian employed residents aged 16 to 24. That’s the fewest in the nation. Fontana came in at 146th on the list of 150 cities.

By comparison, Miami, Florida had the most part-time job openings in that age group and San Francisco came in at Number 3.

On a related note, WalletHub listed Rancho Cucamonga with the lowest percentage of the population aged 16 to 24 living under the poverty line, 8.5 percent.
