Accused Homeland 'fire bug' pleads 'not guilty'
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A 42-year-old parolee has been charged with four counts of arson stemming from a series of fires in Homeland last week.

Marco Aispuro was arrested shortly after two of the fires heavily damaged or destroyed a pair of mobile homes last Friday. Aispuro pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday.

The fires were the last in a series that began April 30th at a church on Highway 74.

There were no reported injuries. Calfire investigators did not say how each was started and the complaint against Aispuro filed in Riverside Superior Court did not list a motive for the fires he allegedly started.

Homeland is an unincorporated rural community that straddles Highway 74 east of Perris.
