SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Los Angeles and Orange counties hold the third-most travel interest for the nation’s summertime vacationers.

The Automobile Club says recent additions to Southland amusement parks and attractions are prompting more interest.

Last summer, the region was the seventh most popular destination in the USA.

New attractions in Southern California include:

· The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood

· The ‘Frozen’ musical and the ‘Soarin’ Around the World’ ride (opening June 17) at Disney’s California Adventure

· The New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain

· LEGO® NINJAGO® THE RIDE at LEGOLAND California Resort
