RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Investigators said Monday that two gang members are prime suspects in a pair of weekend homicides.

Police did not say what connected Victor Gastelum, 29, and Jacob Gamboa, 29. to the shootings that left two other men dead.

One victim was found mortally wounded in the front yard of a residence on Stover Avenue. Earlier Saturday, three people standing in the parking lot of a gas station on Tyler Avenue were shot. One victim died, the others are in stable condition.

A METRO swat team located and arrested Gastelum and Gamboa, both of Riverside, later Sunday and are held on multiple counts of murder and attempted murder.
